Bear IT’s levels of support have been designed to accommodate different types
and size of business, as well as varying degrees of I.T dependency.
Bear IT appreciate that while some businesses wish to minimise their systems
down time, others are simply looking for the most cost effective solution.
Our first level of support is aimed at businesses who are dependant on their IT
systems, but have an infrastructure that is small enough to warrant support and
servicing to be carried out as and when is necessary.
Level 2 support provides a more comprehensive level of cover. IT equipment will
be covered from both a hardware and software point of view for a monthly or
annual charge, which covers call outs, parts and labour charges. Specialist work
such as servers and laptop support is supplied at a reduced hourly rate.
Level 3 provides contingencies for companies that have a high level of I.T
dependency. Essentially the cover is the same as level 2, except, loan equipment
is made available as necessary and we offer a data recovery service for systems
and hard disks that have failed.

solutions to suit you and your business requirements. This can range from the
provision of basic distress support through the management and implementation of
specific installation projects to a total IT outsourcing arrangement.

Software auditing
Licensing and virus protection are major issues for most businesses. Most
directors are unaware that they are directly accountable for license

Bear I.T offers a full desktop/server auditing and documentation service for
software licensing.
Network performance auditing
The cost of Wide Area and infrastructure connections are costly in both thin
client and traditional client-server models. Identifying areas where network
performance and bandwidth utilization can be enhanced is becoming increasingly
important.
Bear I.T offers both network performance analysis and application bandwidth
analysis on local and wide-area networks. Post audit reporting includes detailed
schematics of the network audited together with findings and recommendations for
improvement if necessary.
Anti-virus auditing services
Internet and e-mail traffic are not the only sources used to transport viruses.
Other dangers arise from freeware and home users bringing floppy disks to work,
every business needs to deploy a suitable and manageable anti-virus policy. Bear
I.T can audit, disinfect, install and train users on anti-virus policy.
Hardware auditing services
Asset tagging and server configuration documentation is a time consuming task,
which often remains incomplete. In the event of a disaster, customer's data may
not be recoverable without prior knowledge of the original server configuration.
Bear I.T offers a full audit and documentation service that will act as a
reference for upgrades, asset registrations and DR documentation.
Backup recovery auditing services
In the event of data loss or total system loss, a client's only source of
information maybe their full system or data backups. DAT and DL technology has
long been suspect to minor fluctuations in design.
Bear I.T offers to recover a client’s backup to verify its authenticity onto one
of its support servers. When used in conjunction with the Hardware Auditing
Service this provides a documented disaster recovery program. |
